I would say backup your wallet when ever the balance changes especially if it changes by a large amount.

I was just playing around with some settings and saw that when I have the display mode in User Settings then Account if I have "latest activity"...

I am pretty sure there are ways to make it so you can receive feedback but others can't edit.
