  • Question about new wallet

The Mrs. has too much malware on her cpu and is going to get her computer fixed at the mall. I backed up the wallet and copied everything as well. So to restore the wallet I need to redownload a wallet and restore the files? Will my wallet address be the same? Or am I going to have to have a new wallet address?

I feel like I am going to f this up somehow..

** I managed to figure it out! If a technophobic guy like me can do it anyone can! Just waiting for it to sync up and it should be OK **

Great to hear that you sorted it all out especially if you thought that you would mess it up.

May I suggest to you and anyone else that uses a computer....

Get yourself a good antivirus program... I personally use ESET and it also screens my emails in Outlook
NEVER click on emails suggesting Amazing News Stories, Fat loss diets... and any of that nonsense

I will make a new post with some helpful tips for people with regards to PC usage and safety
Please keep posts On Topic so others can find valuable information. We appreciate comments as long as they follow the line of conversation - Thank You

The Mrs. probably got the malware from going to webpages that stream K Dramas and Thai Lakorns. I keep the wallet on her computer as it doubles as a tablet so I can use Rimbit on the go if need be.
