    Could it be possible to use the blockchain technology to build some kind of mail client? Using this would implement not to need a mail provider.

    I dont think it's possible. Imagine how big would be the blockchain's file to store all the user email data. And it's stored locally on every user PC

      The blockchain might work well for secure transactions, but I don't think regular email would be a good use of the resources
