Indiegogo Campaign for RimbitPi

The RimbitPi is a unit that right now may have more appeal as a gadget than a required tool, but as it develops in terms of its hardware and software, I can see it becoming a very cost effective product for users who want a basic computer to surf the web, play games or a media center.

I had a conversation with a friend today about Rimbit and I likened it to a Wheel... We have invented the wheel, but we have yet to invent the bike, the car, the aircraft or the spacecraft.... Rimbit is like the wheel and over time, it will fill the areas that it can take full advantage of and may even become so second nature, that we forget its origins

There have been delays which are very understandable (personal) and I have also had a one on one with Prior (using our new chat system)

Cases are being handmade using 3D Printing technology and as someone that is considering getting one of these printers, I have come aware of the learning curve that is required to get a good print done.

There are some improvements being made now prior to the batch being sent and I will be doing a photoshoot and video, once I get my Pi...

I am also on the list to get a RimbitPi and looking forward to having one of my very own as well....

I am looking forward to mine and I think it is something I could use to sell Rimbit to friends/colleagues too. Something nice and shiny and techy is always better than just an idea!

I'm excited to set my RimbitPi as well. There's just something adding another piece of hardware in the office. Haha

No further sales on IGG of the RimbitPi..stuck at $229. with 43 hours left. I hope Priorguy keeps the campaign going

The lack of interest in the first campaign is probably due to people not understanding all of the advantages of the RimbitPi. When the first batch is in the hands of users and people see why the RimbitPi is such a good solution, I am sure there will be more demand. At that point we will run another campaign

I have hired a developer to improve the webui. Add some more native features as well as make it mobile friendly.

I wonder how the next Rimbit pi model will be if he is adding more features.
